Lisa Brown
Lisa Brown graduated from Georgia College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1984. While in nursing school, Ms. Brown worked as a Patient care Assistant at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, where she discovered her passion for critical care nursing. After graduation, she served as a critical care nurse in the cardiovascular, neuro, pediatric and trauma intensive care units at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, as well as serving on their faculty as an adjunct professor supervising nursing clinicals. Ms. Brown went on to obtain advanced certifications in adult and pediatric life support, and was inducted into the Who’s Who in American Nursing, critical care. She later assumed the assistant nurse manager position for an eyes, ear, nose and throat surgical unit. After retirement from clinical nursing, Ms. Brown joined the firm as an on staff nurse.
Reneé Darnell
Reneé Darnell is a graduate of Georgia Baptist School of Nursing, and has been a registered nurse for over 39 years. Her career has spanned a range of areas including surgery, intensive care, and management. She worked at the Coliseum Medical Center in Macon for 28 years, and when Ms. Darnell retired she was the charge nurse for four departments. Ms. Darnell was awarded the Excellence in Nursing award from the Coliseum Medical Center as well as the 2018 Nurse of the Year. After her retirement from clinical nursing, Ms. Darnell joined the staff as a full-time on staff nurse.
Lenora Milam
Lenora Milam has a background in secretarial and office management work and earned her Business Office Technology Diploma in 1995. Ms. Milam worked as an Assistant Business manager from 1998 to 2003, where she was in charge of payroll and opening and closing cases. Then, in 2003, Ms. Milam began her career as a Paralegal at for a large downtown firm in Macon, Georgia where she spent many years before joining the firm as the Office Manager and Paralegal in 2017.
Dr. Monica R. Stone
Dr. Monica R. Stone is a graduate of Michigan State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Physiology with high honors in 1976 and her Masters in Human Nutrition 1979. She then went on to earn her M.D. from Georgetown University School of Medicine. During active duty in the Air Force, Dr. Stone completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynocology at Keeler USAF Medical Center before going on to become the Chief of OB/GYN at Dyess Air Force Base in 1987. When she separated from the Air Force in 1990 after achieving the rank of Major, she continued to practice OB/GYN in private practice for over twenty years. Dr. Stone is board certified and a fellow in the American College of OB/GYN. Dr. Stone joined the firm in 2013 and has served as our in house physician ever since.
